[nospaces] [attr="class","sbody"] [attr="class","ihead"] DEMON BADGE [attr="class","aname2"] VERDANTURF GYM [attr="class","ipad"] [break] GYM INFORMATION[break][break] To reach Thomas' Gym, one is directed down a lonely footpath through the forests surrounding Verdanturf Town. The path itself stands in contrast to the beauty of Verdanturf. As one were to walk down the path, one would most likely get the feeling that they were being watched by someone, or something.[break][break] After about thirty minutes of walking, one would happen upon a large clearing in the middle of the forest. What stands out the most is the specially constructed arena, seemingly made of stone, large enough accommodate even a Wailord, the surrounding area being conditioned to prevent Fire-type attacks from spreading out through the forest around them.[break][break] [break][break] [attr="class","ipad"] BATTLE REGULATIONS[break][break] - SIZE LIMIT » Thanks to the Gym being outdoors, and in a special arena, there is no size limit on Pokemon. So feel free to bring in that big Wailord, Steelix, Alolan Exeggutor, etc.
- TRADITIONAL CHALLENGE » Challenger's choice between Singles, Doubles, or Triples.
- POKEMON LIMIT » Singles is anywhere from 1 to 6 Pokemon. Doubles is 2, 4, or 6 Pokemon. Triples is either 3 or 6 Pokemon. For now, it is recommended that the challenger have at least 1 Fully Evolved Pokemon.
- BATTLE RULES » In simple terms, it's two moves per Pokemon, per turn. In doubles and triples, it becomes a movepool of two multiplied by the number of Pokemon on your field. So in a double battle, it's a pool of four moves per turn, and six moves per turn in triples. An individual Pokemon can make more than two moves, but the total amount of moves the entire active team can make is limited to four or six, depending on the format.[break][break]Dodging counts as a move being used, whether it's simple side-stepping, or a move is being used to negate, etc. Taking the attack does not take up a move in the turn, but I ask that you try to be sensible as to what sort of damage your Pokemon would take. A Weavile is not going to just shrug off a Mach Punch, for example.
- NON-TRADITIONAL CHALLENGE » With the aid of the Gym Leader's Zoroark and Alakazam, the challenger will be pitted against one of their greatest fears, or greatest personality flaws. The object of the challenge is simple: confront and overcome your demon.[break][break]
[attr="class","ipad"] BATTLE REQUESTS[break][break] Please fill out the following form.[break][break] [blockquote][div style="text-align:left;width:250px;margin:auto;font-family:verdanna;"] [b]Name » [/b][break] [b]Pokemon » [/b][break] [b]Challenge Type » [/b]Traditional or Non-Traditional. If Traditional, specify the battle type. If Non-Traditional, specify which fear or flaw you're confronting.[break]
